Living in Full Color: A Vibrant Home Remodel
With this home remodel, we wanted to create something truly unique, colorful, and full of fun. These clients were ready to go all-in on their dream of a vibrant home bursting with personality! It’s the kind of space that makes you smile the moment you walk through the door! We transformed the entire kitchen and both bathrooms, layering in bold choices and joyful details throughout. Let us know in the comments which room you’d love to have in your own home!
In this kitchen, we went all in on a tropical-inspired backsplash that comes in a truly one-of-a-kind pattern. Each tile is unique, and we customized the full layout, which means no other kitchen in the world will look exactly like this. To complement the bold backsplash, we paired cheerful yellow upper cabinets with grounding navy blue lowers, striking the perfect balance between playful and refined. Modern chrome hardware adds just the right amount of shine, pulling the whole look together beautifully.
We chose to celebrate the window over the sink by popping it out to bring in even more natural light, perfect for the plants that thrive there. Above the sink, we added a mid-century modern inspired pendant that adds a warm, stylish glow. The deep stainless steel sink paired with a sleek chrome faucet completes the vignette, creating a functional yet beautifully curated moment in the kitchen.
One of the coolest additions to this kitchen is the yellow paneled fridge, perfectly matched to the upper cabinets so it blends in seamlessly. We love how bold, custom appliances like this elevate the entire space and make the design feel truly intentional. The generous island offers plenty of workspace, and the surrounding countertops help anchor the room, creating a layout that feels complete, functional, and beautifully balanced.
This bathroom has a sea-green herringbone tile that flows from the floor up the back wall, creating a sense of height that instantly makes the room feel larger. We also added a colorful, cheerful mural to the inset ceiling, which continues that feeling of upward movement and visual space. We loved how the client was completely on board with the funky, playful ideas we brought to the table. This ceiling moment ended up being one of the standout features of the entire design!
We added additional countertop space to this floating walnut vanity, giving the room more usable surface area for getting ready. The custom walnut design features subtle matte black pulls that keep the mid-century modern vibe flowing throughout the space. We also incorporated floating shelves, perfect for plants, curated beauty products, or any little treasures you want to show off in your home!
The cheerful yellow that brightens the kitchen also makes an appearance in this bathroom, bringing continuity and a shared design language throughout the home. We enclosed the tub-shower with a combination of glass and a half wall to keep the space feeling open and full of light. The rolling matte black hardware on the glass elevates the look even further, creating a far more refined and modern feel than a standard shower curtain.
This tile is endlessly fascinating to look at! Its small, organic shapes feature subtle marks and movement, giving the surface a lively, textural quality. The large-format layout keeps grout lines minimal, letting the pattern shine and creating a clean, modern feel.
This bathroom is a perfect snapshot of the home’s fearless approach to color and pattern. The bold, fruit-forward wallpaper brings instant energy, while the sleek black fixtures and sculptural lighting anchor the space with modern contrast.
Warm cabinetry and white countertops soften the vibrancy, creating a balance that feels both playful and intentional. Every detail in this room celebrates personality! From the unexpected mix of textures to the thoughtful layering of tones that echo throughout the rest of the house it’s a space designed to brighten your day the moment you walk in, and a reminder that great design can be both joyful and functional.
This freestanding soaking tub brings the perfect splash of luxury to the room. It’s the kind of space that practically begs you to sink in and stay awhile! The geometric tile flooring, crisp wainscoting, vibrant wallpaper, and that boldly unique light fixture all team up to create a true statement moment. It’s playful, polished, and packed with personality.
We’re truly obsessed with the blue tiles we chose for this walk-in luxury shower. They feel clean and modern yet irresistibly rich in color, and the playful stacked pattern keeps the whole look fresh and unexpected. We also carried the geometric floor tile straight into the shower, creating a seamless flow that makes the entire room feel cohesive and intentionally crafted.
We added a three tiered inset niche to give plenty of room for shampoos, conditioners, and all those must-have products. The small triangular corner bench is another intentional touch, it really elevate the shower experience without taking up too much space. And with the matte black handshower paired with a sleek rain shower, the whole setup feels elevated, functional, and truly stunning.
