Electric Feel: A Bold, Blue Townhouse
This townhouse is filled with an electric energy that can only be credited to the beautiful blue that we see in the bathroom, dining nook, kitchen, and wet bar! We love this color and how it brings such a lively energy to the space. I hope you enjoy this home full of personality and style.
bathroom
This bathroom is a perfect example of how bold pattern and color can transform a small space into something unforgettable. All the unique touches make if feel both fresh and energizing, a little oasis of personality and function!
The leafy, tropical-inspired wallpaper brings in lively shades of green and blue, setting the tone for a vibrant and playful design. Paired with the textural, geometric wainscoting this is a show-stopper!
The small-scale blue floor tile runs uninterrupted into the shower, visually expanding the space while creating a sense of cohesion. A frameless glass door enhances the airy, open feel, allowing light to filter through and making the bathroom feel larger!
One of the standout features in this bathroom is the curb-less walk-in shower. Designed with universal design principles in mind, the shower allows users to have zero barrier to entering, making it accessible for everyone! Finally, matte black fixtures round out the space, making it clean, bold, and unique.
The unique geometric white tile is not only visually striking but also surprisingly functional. Because it comes in a large-format design, there are far fewer grout lines to disrupt the clean, seamless look of the walls. This makes it much easier to maintain, with less scrubbing and upkeep required over time.
The black faucet complements the vanity cabinets, creating a cohesive and modern look. This rich, grounding black color is important in anchoring the space that is filled with so much personality!
The contrast between the black vanity and the blue wainscoting is fun, playful, and dynamic. Seeing the two side-by-side shows how much personality is truly in this space.
The petite blue hex tiles on the floor tie everything together, continuing the colorful story while grounding the room in a crisp, clean aesthetic. Creating a space with this much personality is no easy task, but here, every intentional design choice comes together beautifully to make a lasting impact.
dining nook
This dining nook strikes a beautiful balance between cozy and elegant. It flows seamlessly from the kitchen and has a wall of windows that provide generous natural light. We used a round table to anchor the space and brought in custom deep-blue chairs that bring richness and texture to the room.
The custom silver table with wooden base is the centerpiece of this space, making it a welcoming spot that feels sophisticated yet inviting. It’s the perfect vibe for both everyday meals or intimate gatherings!
Each custom chair has a distinctive patterned back and brass nailhead trim, elevating the overall look with a tailored touch. This is the kind of customization you can achieve when working with a design team!
Floor-to-ceiling drapery in a delicate dotted pattern filters natural light, adding a sense of softness and airiness. These custom drapes were exactly what the homeowner wanted for this space!
The large-scale bird artwork above the sideboard introduces a playful and organic element, softening the more polished features and tying in the nature-inspired palette.
The gold chandelier and matching lamps bring in a layer of warmth, complementing the cool tones of the chairs and artwork. Plus, we used this console as a fun place to add organic decor that brings the outdoors in!
kitchen
This kitchen combines timeless elegance with a bold splash of modern energy! The classic white cabinetry creates a bright and open backdrop, while the striking electric-blue island commands attention as the centerpiece of the room. Topped with a sleek white countertop, the island doubles as both a prep space and a casual gathering spot.
Gold hardware and light fixtures bring a touch of luxury, highlighting the contrast between the crisp white cabinetry and the rich blue base. The gold pendants tie the look together beautifully, echoing the warm tones of the chandelier and lamps in the dining nook.
wet bar
Who says a bar area has to blend in? These deep blue cabinets bring so much richness to the space, especially paired with luxe gold hardware and a crisp marble countertop. The patterned backsplash softens all the bold color with subtle movement, adding dimension without overwhelming the eye.
The glass-front cabinets are perfect for showing off glassware while keeping everything neat and elevated. It’s a small design moment that packs a serious style punch! Finally, the space flows perfectly into the dining nook making hosting a breeze!
