Electric Feel: A Bold, Blue Townhouse

Electric Feel: A Bold, Blue Townhouse

This townhouse is filled with an electric energy that can only be credited to the beautiful blue that we see in the primary bathroom, dining nook, kitchen, and wet bar! We love this color and how it brings such a lively energy to the space. I hope you enjoy this home full of personality and style.

Primary bathroom

blue vanity in primary bathroom

This primary bathroom bursts to life with an electric blue vanity that steals the show the moment you walk in. The cabinetry brings a jolt of personality into the space, creating a lively contrast against the soft, misty-blue walls. Paired with gleaming brass hardware and playful pendant lights, the vanity feels like a daily dose of good energy built right into the room.

How to style your primary bathroom with gold accents

The trio of pendant lights feels bold and sculptural, almost like floating pieces of modern art. Their gold tops and crisp white shades play perfectly against the electric blue vanity, adding warmth while keeping the space feeling fresh and lively. They create this wonderful glow that bounces off the oversized mirror, making the entire room feel brighter, bigger, and full of energy.

The brushed gold finish feels intentional and elevated, tying in beautifully with the hardware and shower fixtures throughout the space. Its clean, streamlined shape gives the vanity a modern edge while still blending into the overall classic-meets-funky vibe.

Pull out blue cabinet drawers with holder for hair dryer

Smart storage adds its own layer of personality, especially the custom pull-out cabinet designed for all the getting-ready magic. Hair tools stay plugged in and ready to go, makeup sits neatly on tiered shelves, and everything tucks away effortlessly.

We also added extra pull out storage in the cabinet under the sink. These are the kind of details that makes the space feel like livable luxury, making everyday routine feel a little bit more fabulous!

Custom walk in shower with large bench and hand shower

The walk-in shower keeps the fun going with its airy glass enclosure and warm brass details. The crisp marble-look tile brings a clean, spa-like calm, but the gold fixtures and angled glass give it a modern twist. This shower feels like a luxurious hideaway.

Large-format tile make the space feels expansive and airy. Gold fixtures, ranging from the rain showerhead to the handheld sprayer, introduce warmth while reinforcing the overall luxurious design language of the room. A built-in bench and recessed niches bring both comfort and convenience, making the shower as functional as it is beautiful.

Gold hardware with etched detailing

We chose this towel bar hardware for its fun, etched detailing, an understated touch that quietly elevates the space. It’s one of those design decisions that doesn’t shout for attention but absolutely contributes to the bathroom’s polished, pulled-together look.

dining nook

This dining nook strikes a beautiful balance between cozy and elegant. It flows seamlessly from the kitchen and has a wall of windows that provide generous natural light. We used a round table to anchor the space and brought in custom deep-blue chairs that bring richness and texture to the room.

Laughing with my client as we have a blast putting the final touches on her fantastic home we've been sprucing up over the last year. It feels amazing seeing my client so happy and laughing along with her.

This functional swivel chair serves multiple purposes. My client can swivel and enjoy their amazing city view, they can swivel and enjoy the warmth of their fireplace, or they have a front-row seat to their favorite TV show.

This modern living room had a floor to ceiling fireplace with a flowing wave tile and elevated linear firebox. We flanked it with gold etageres accessorized with colorful accents and two fashionable blue patterned swivel chairs. A marble and gold coffee table is centered on a cobalt colored oriental rug anchoring the room.

If you have never thought about having a patterned sofa, you have now. This sofa is in a stain resistant, pet friendly patterned fabric. It adds the perfect texture and tone to this open living space.

From this angle you also get a peek-a-boo of the color assortment of pillows on the sofa that bring the room together.

This dining room is surrounded by all the beautiful things! Custom drapes, beautiful dining table that's a piece of petrified wood, cobalt blue chairs, colorful drapes, and the perfect light fixture.

The gold accents in this island pendant bring warmth into this kitchen. It mixes perfectly with the modern lucite as well.

The hall console boasts tons of storage. More attention to detail was thought through by selecting a storage piece with a textured shagreen front.

The art is bold with energetic brush strokes. We flanked the art with fabulous Kelly Wearstler lights, an art piece in and of itself.

We chose to bring life into this office design with a colorful and stylized modern botanical wallpaper. This greens and blues envelope the space with life and happiness.

glam style fabulous bathroom design

The main floor powder bathroom was not ignored. We upgraded this space with a self-lit vanity mirror, under cabinet lighting, glamorous wallpaper, and jewelry for hanging light pendants. Guests are going to remember going in this room.

This townhouse did not have a large, grand entry, as is the nature of most townhomes. We made a conscious decision to make a bold statement right as you walk in. This beautiful blue and white inlay chest in a fun pattern sets the tone for the rest of the design.

The blue and white chest has ample storage for that illusive “junk drawer” we all have. It also serves the more practical use of housing the dog’s leashes and mess bags. But you would never know with the beautiful accessories on top.

pink gold grey and silver modern bedroom decoration

As you walk into the primary bedroom, you are greeted with a more monochromatic design backdrop with punches of bold pinks. My client’s wanted to celebrate femininity, glamor, and class. The tufted headboard brings amazing texture to the room.

silver leaf nightstand and bedroom decor

By adding a large-scale piece of art above the nightstand, we are able to subconsciously draw your eye up towards the ceiling, giving the room a taller sense of space. A softer, watercolor style modern art with no image was chosen to be the perfect backdrop to the layered gem-cut gold lamp.

One of my favorite items to add into my designs is a fun conversation piece. Often times it comes in the form of a unique chair.

For the primary suite’s bathroom, we opted for a more understated design. Rather than going bold with color, pattern, and texture, the client wanted a more serene feel.

This guest bedroom continues with the colorful vibe throughout the rest of the house. With a more limited budget for this secondary space, we focused mixing special pillows with a cleaner bedspread in order to make this design feel high-end.
